The effect of short peptides on brain functioning under normal and neurodegenerative conditions
Dear Friends!
We are pleased to introduce you a new scientific lecture devoted to the study of peptide bioregulators in a convenient video format. This time our latest lecture from our series of research articles of Scientific Information Centre is devoted to the topic — «The effect of short peptides on brain functioning under normal and neurodegenerative conditions».
The lecture explores the effects of peptide bioregulators on the central nervous system. The following aspects of peptide bioregulation in neurodegenerative diseases are discussed:
- mechanisms of action of peptides
- impact of peptides on cognitive functions, memory and learning processes
- influence on recovery after traumas and neurodegenerative diseases
The lecture will be interesting and useful for specialists in medicine, biology and pharmacology, as well as for anyone interested in neuroscience research and exploration of effective treatments for neurodegenerative diseases.
The scientific lecture is prepared by Anastasia Ilina:
- Research assistant of the Laboratory of Molecular Mechanisms of Ageing, Saint-Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology
- Ph.D candidate in the Department of Pathology and Pathophysiology of Institute of Experimental Medicine
We invite you to dive into the world of peptides: you will find out how they affect the brain in a healthy state and in neurodegenerative processes in our new video lecture.
We wish you a pleasant viewing experience!
