Scientific lecture “Neuroprotective effects of shorts peptides In in vivo model of Alzheimer's disease”
In a modern world where science and technology are evolving at a rapid rate the problem of Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis and treatment is becoming increasingly relevant. In recent years, there is a growing interest in this issue. This is due to the fact that despite the considerable efforts, modern methods of treatment of Alzheimer’s disease don’t allow to completely prevent or reverse the progression of the disease.
Due to the urgent character of the problem, we invite you to get acquainted with the results of the research on the effectiveness of EDR and KED peptides in the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, presented in a convenient format of video lecture within our Scientific Informational Center framework. The lecture describes the findings of research published in the international journals - "Pharmaceuticals" (2021 г.) and "Brain Sciences" (2023 г.).
The lecture contains useful recommendations of peptides for the prevention of neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease.
The scientific lecture is prepared by Anastasia Ilina:
- Research assistant of the Laboratory of Molecular Mechanisms of Ageing, Saint-Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology
- Ph.D candidate in the Department of Pathology and Pathophysiology of Institute of Experimental Medicine
You can get acquainted with the text of the lecture in detail following the link: read the report here.
Let’s keep abreast of the latest positive achievements in the world of medical science!
We are pleased to present you our new lecture on the peptide bioregulators from our Scientific-Information Centre series in the convenient video format. It will address the topic of «Molecular mechanisms in the application of short peptides under hypoxia conditions».
Our new lecture as a part of Scientific Information Centre — Peptide bioregulators application in cosmetology: clinical and molecular aspects — focuses on this topic.
